Meet our Ministry Team

Jason and Jaime Walden

Jason and his wife Jaime moved to Rhode Island in 2002. For Jason, a native North Carolinian, it was a complete change of scenery, for Jaime it was a return to the place she grew up, and called home. Shortly after their relocation, it became apparent to Jason that God was moving him toward full-time ministry, a call that had been evident in his life for quite some time. While Jason completed his seminary training, both Jason and Jaime worked as volunteer staff members at OSBC, serving in several capacities. At OSBC, they were able to lead the College & Career Ministry, work with preschoolers and elementary age children, and start a weekly Bible study ministry at a nursing home in North Providence, among other ministries. Currently, Jason is employed as an engineer with an International Property Solutions company, while Jaime is a full-time homemaker and volunteer at the school their children attend. God has blessed them with three children, John, 9, Matthew, 6, and Leah, 1. They are excited to see what God has in store for OSBC South, and humbled to be used for His glory in South County!

The Harringtons

Rich and Sheri Harrington

Rich is a life long resident of Rhode Island and met his wife Sheri while they were both attending Cedarville University (OH). Rich completed his BA in Marketing with a minor in Biblical Studies in 1993 and Sheri was Cedarville's first ever Piano Pedagogy graduate. She also has a major in Biology and a minor in Biblical Studies. Sheri is an accomplished classical pianist, has been teaching for over 20 years, and plays piano for communion Sunday each month. Rich was just a young boy when his family joined OSBC in 1980. He has grown up singing in the church: first in the junior choir, then singing in duets, and finally performing solos at about the age of 14. Since that time he has also participated in quartets, adult choir, filled in as worship leader, and most recently has led the music in children's church since 2002. Rich and Sheri have been involved in Pioneer Clubs on and off for the past 15 years as well and have been involved in a number of other ministries throughout the years. Currently, Rich is self employed and works as a Realtor for Re/Max Properties in Smithfield, while Sheri continues to teach piano out of their home. They have two children: Colin, 8, and Ashton, 5. They are excited for this opportunity to serve God through music and worship and cannot wait to see what he has in store for their future.
