Having a good nursery is one of the most important things to parents when looking for a church.  At Ocean State, we know how important children are and aim to provide the highest quality care possible.  We are proud to have three different nurseries for specific age groups. The first nursery is for newborns up to one year where infants are separated from other toddlers that are on the move. They are safe in a fully staffed room where they can enjoy tummy time and toys especially for their age group or take a nap in a secure crib. The second nursery is for children over a year who are crawling and walking around.  The nursery workers read books, help with potty training and offer the toddlers many toys that help with their development. The third nursery is for 2.5-3.5 year olds. This nursery is for toddlers who are potty-trained and is used as a transition to move into classrooms that are more structured. The children sing songs, have play time and also begin having Bible lessons meant specifically for their age.

When you drop your child off, you will be given a number in case your child needs you.  In the auditorium, there are boxes that will show your number if the nursery workers need you to come care for your child.
