Nursery:

Jesus loves the little children…and so do we! Ocean State Baptist Church knows that cultivating the desire for spiritual growth starts before your little one begins to crawl. Our staff provides a loving, nurturing environment where babies and toddlers can do what they do best- play, laugh and sleep, allowing their parents to worship without distraction. And by the way, they're the only ones allowed to sleep through the service! Location: The nursery is located on the lower level in the main hallway, and is divided into infants (0-12 months) and toddlers (12-36 months).

Junior Church:

Did you know that church can be outrageously fun? If you didn't, you need to peek in on our Junior Church program which takes place during the 11 a.m. worship service. With an interactive approach to learning, kids are encouraged to "become" part of the Bible story. With lots of singing, lots of laughter, and lots of learning, our first through fourth graders are charged up with God's Word. This becomes a great transitory stage for our children as they begin learning what worship is and are prepared to join "big church".

Pioneer Clubs:

Life can be a challenge for children to walk. Our world is rough terrain for them to navigate. But an accurate roadmap and some godly guides will help them negotiate the rough parts. The truth is, they really are pioneers - each child's path is unique. That's why our Wednesday night Pioneer Clubs are designed to encourage, excite, and equip them for the journey ahead.

Sunday School:

Sunday School has always been a fundamental part of the ministry of OSBC. Specialized, age-appropriate curriculum is carefully and prayerfully selected as we strive to teach and mold lives from the nursery to the Adult Class. From the simplicity of the Beginner Class where basic truths like "God loves me and He has a special plan for my life" to the Shipmates Class, where growing young families God's way is taught, you will find nourishment and warmth in the small-class settings.
